NEW BASKETBALLS AND RIMS FOR THE CHANTRY RESIDENTS

At Sport Sense, we believe in the power of sports to bring communities together, inspire young people, and create safe, welcoming spaces for everyone. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce some recent improvements at Chantry Library Court, made possible through partnerships with Suffolk Police and Suffolk Libraries.

A New Bounce in the Community

Thanks to generous funding and community support, we’ve been able to acquire 15 brand-new basketballs, ranging in sizes 5, 6, and 7. These balls are free for residents and players at Chantry Library Court to use, encouraging everyone, from budding young athletes to seasoned players, to enjoy the game.

In addition to the basketballs, we’ve also installed new rims on the court, ensuring that the facility is ready for players to shoot, dunk, and hone their skills. These small but meaningful upgrades mark a significant step in making the court a vibrant hub for sports and recreation.

Building a Safe and Inclusive Space

Our mission goes beyond providing equipment; it’s about fostering a sense of pride and ownership within the community. By enhancing the facilities at Chantry Library Court, we aim to show that we care deeply about the spaces our community uses and want to create an environment that’s safe and welcoming for people of all ages.

What’s Next?

These updates are just the beginning. At Sport Sense, we’re committed to continuous improvement and collaboration with local organisations to ensure that public spaces like Chantry Library Court remain accessible, enjoyable, and safe. We’re excited to see the impact these changes will have and look forward to working on more projects that benefit our community.
